The newly formed Metabolic Sciences Division is seeking candidates with a research focus on understanding metabolic and bioenergetic mechanisms that impact human health. We are particularly interested in applicants with expertise (or with strong interests) in developing metabolomics/lipidomics and metabolic flux analyses to examine physiological or pathological processes related to metabolism and immunology.
The Genomics Research Center (GRC; https://www.genomics.sinica.edu.tw/en/) is organized into three Divisions of Chemical Biology, Medical Biology, and Metabolic Sciences, aiming for translating scientific discoveries from genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and glycomics approaches to disease therapeutics and diagnostics for precision healthcare and medicine. Candidates with expertise complementary to existing research programs of the Medical and Chemical Biology Divisions are also encouraged to apply:
Medical Biology Division: Interested in candidates with experience in applying single-cell/spatial systems biology to tumor immunology and in stem cell/organoid tissue development to model human disease.
Chemical Biology Division: Seeking expertise in glycobiology and/or chemical biology to study human diseases and in detection and synthesis of novel metabolites through metabolomics studies.
